Since no one replied anymore on my recent posts, I'll just make another one.
Firing range = smooth, as soon i join a match everything becomes slow and choppy, 144 fps feels as 60 and aiming feels like garbage.
Do you see any of the problem indicator icons during the day?
Is it choppy all the time and consistent or does it sort of come and go?
Season 12 overall has been a big disappointment for me largely due the so-called 'next gen upgrade' which in all honesty was an upgrade in name only with next to no difference in graphical & audio performances & I speak as a PS5 owner who has played Apex since the very first season on both the PS4 & Xbox1.Apex on the PS5 in all honesty plays awful with very choppy gameplay, occasional screen tearing & game input lag has become so bad it's had me going back to playing Apex on my PS4.I don't believe the performance issues with the PS5 upgrade is because Apex runs on 60Hz rather than 120Hz as I've played games like Elden Ring,Deathloop,Returnal,Horizon Zero Dawn,Ghost of Tshushima etc on 60 Hz & they play perfectly fine.But since the red display signs have come back into the game many of my games have the Prediction Error,Congestion & Packet Loss symbols which is a clear sign of game server issues which is hampering the game again.
