Where in-game is it crashing? Does it happen when you're on the squad banner screen?
I'm playing on an xbox one s and for the past week it's been like this, missed over half the event due to being unable to play the game at all. I was told to remove the animated banners but it still freezes which I find funny since no one I play with has this issue. 5 games, 2 as wraith and 3 as rampart, it's crashed 4 times twice before the match starts and twice after I go to leave the match from dying.

Have same issue. Game freezes just as the champions are about to reweal themself whit the banners before the game.
It also freezes as im about to leave the game to the lobby.
First on xbox 1. Then on xbox s.
Physically need to turn of the game from dashboard on xbox. To start again.
Quite annoying.
patience this is been going on for atleast 3 months so far and is getting worse i'm seriously thinking about deleting the game altogether as i'm spending more time reloading to get a game than actually playing its messing with my k/d ratio noone wants to have a game taking up memory space that they cant play, i finally saw an error code the other week it was code😕nake this all started at the beginning of this season for me and there was an update that sorted it for a few games but it reverted back to freezing again between team banners and showing the champion squad it's starting to get beyond a joke now there's only a certain amount of times you can reinstall the game before you give up on it and it's a shame as its a great game

I know it's definitely been frustrating. It's something we're still working on getting fixed. A good place to watch out for updates would be the Apex Tracker.
