Hello @EA_Kent and others 🙂 I am having the very same issue. I play on PC via a wired connection.
In most gaming sessions, my connection to Apex will become very laggy in the first or second game, ultimately leading to a complete loss of my PC's internet connection. The rest of the house that is wired and on WiFi is not affected. This only happens with Apex. I love this game, but this issue is driving me insane. I changed ISPs and NICs before finally realizing and accepting that this only happens during Apex. Some information on my system:
Ryzen 5 3600
Radeon 5700
Intel PCIe NIC
16 G RAM
Xfinity is my ISP and I am using their xFi 3rd gen gateway
Happy to collaborate on finding a solution.

Thanks! I appreciate it.Have you had the chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? If there's anything else running that might be causing this to happen that may help to get around it.

Apex also causes my router to drop internet connection. It happens randomly at any point of the match but usually near the start. This has happened twice before in few months (coincidentally at season starts or splits) and it has usually lasts for 2-3 days randomly. I can't finish any match. All the devices connected to my router Asus RT-AX92U lose WAN connection and device shows one led flickering before turning red. I just upgraded to latest firmware and tried even newer beta firmware that's only 3 days old. Doesn't help. I have opened all ports from every device/software between.
There has to be something in the net code that causes timing out connections and that could overwhelm the router.Apex is the only game this happens in.
