It happens to me every time I get in a close fight. Lose a lot of fights that way. Happened to my buddy and then he got a series x and it stopped. I have a one s. It's been near impossible to snag a series x online without paying scalper prices.
This problem has been going on for months as of today, July 28. I'm confident this will never be fixed and same situation where Apple got in trouble for updates causing older model phones to not work properly. Will keep trying for a series x but that's clearly the only solution for Xbox Apex gameplay

I too have been getting this stuttering issue and have tried everything to resolve it.
Lets face it if you have a Xbox 1 its going to be unplayable in season 10 so why dont they just remove it from crossplay and give it its own dedicated server.
They have introduced mobile and since the launch of that Apex has been unplayable for me and I guess many others as well.
I have been getting error codes and game freezing after character select screen for the past 2 weeks now and every fire fight lags out really badly and even opening a loot box my game stutters.
There is an issue and it needs to be fixed.
People have invested a lot of money into this game only to be let down by the developers.

Bro I quit. I literally gave the new Xbox Series X and when I start a match. 3 seconds goes by and bam… 2-3 lag freeze in frames. Then 4-5 seconds go by… then bam, another freeze. FOR THE ENTIRE MATCH. It’s why I’m big mad I wasted money on Xbox so I could play with friends before the cross play. Back to ps5 while this thing collects dust.
