I'm having the same issue. It doesn't matter to me right now about how it performs or low fps, I just want the game to load and to see if settings I adjust help it get to somewhat playable. I really don't care about doing good right now. And doesn't it say "minimum specs?". Almost everyone here meets the minimum requirements when I looked at it. I also thought I do. Here's my PC specs below.
Intel Core2 Duo 2.93 GHz CPU (Processor is a 2 core and I thought for sure a I3 was a 2 core so wth is the difference......)
Geforce GT 710 GPU (still meets and goes slightly above minimum GPU requirement)
8GB DDR3 RAM (is above 6GB requirement so idk what's going on)
256 GB HDD (I was still able to download the game so that's not an issue)
Windows 7 Pro 64bit (which still meets the minimum requirement)
Since I meet all the requirements why the heck is it not loading. I've tried like 5 times, uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and it still isn't working. I might try some of those ways and see if it works but I doubt something like this could be fixed. My PC isn't the best in the world but it still meets the minimum required specs so, there's a problem and I'm not happy. >☹️
Better just be a bug that will be fixed soon. If they don't fix this they will lose popularity fast. No wonder this game hasn't hit the player count Fortnite has, so many can't even play the game since it doesn't even load on a lot of pcs!I'm about to lose my mind right now.
I also don't get what some others said before. You can't play when you don't have the minimum specs? What BS that is!! I was able to load Fortnite (but not actually play it since fps was almost nothing, but I didn't realize I can adjust game and PC settings back then) even with on board graphics, OpenGL 2.5 originally. Now it's OpenGL 4.6 something like that, which was not even close to the minimum required GPU. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed ASAP!!!!!
OpenGL being the driver I'm guessing and GPU that I said being the GeForce GT 710.
I also forgot to say the GPU has 2GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics memory.
