Apex legends update has locked the game modes option only choice is firingrange?

After downloading the newest update I'm having an issue loading up any gamemodes other than firing range.  Is the server offline?  Is this a problem that anyone else is having? How do I/we fix it?

Thank you for the posts. I assume from the onscreen prompts that you're on Xbox @ace1ner?

Can I check what system other folks are on? Did you update the game client before encountering this?

    bro waited 2hrs for it to download and now it won't work at all :/ ffs
