Apex Legends using way too much CPU - Stutter + Framedrops

I used to have this problem.

i3 8350k ( 4 cores 4 threads) for ppl saying this was the issue. Atleast for me it wasnt.

So i did this.

1. Open Registry Editor (Windows+R - regedit)

2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options

3. Right Click on "Image File Execution Options" & Create a new Key: r5apex.exe

4. Right Click on the new key "R5apex.exe" & Create a new Key: PerfOptions

5. Create a new DWORD (32 bit) -> Name it "CpuPriorityClass", double click and set value to 0

My game used to run with 80%+ cpu usage sometimes 100% and freeze or crash. was having input lag with mouse and keyboard.

Now it runs 30~60% never freezes and crash again, no input lag anymore.

If u have a command forcing ur game to run with 4 threads, disable that command.

This fixed my game, GL 😉
