Apex Legends won't install/launch properly

I downloaded Apex on Origin, but after finishing downloading I have "Install" button instead of play, clicking it does nothing, cant verify files because it says its not installed. Tried re-downloading but it does nothing but causes same thing to happen, tried copying Steam apex files to Origin apex foler - not working. Even whole Origin and apex reinstalling didnt work. Is there any solution to this?

    Thanks for checking, @EnZooooTM.

Have you tried running Origin as an Administrator?

It may be worth setting your download location to a new folder and starting a new download there.

Once the new download has started, stop it (after a small amount of progress), close Origin, and copy the files from the old location to the new location.

Restart Origin as an Administrator and try restarting the download at the new location.

Let's see if it recognizes your installation at the new location after that point.

@EnZooooTM If you're not even able to get this installed in a different location without running into the same thing, we'll want to try digging a bit deeper.

Please try uninstalling Origin using the hard way outlined here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/#hard-way

Note that's different than the standard uninstallation method.

Before reinstalling everything after that point I'd try a clean boot to help make sure no other services are interfering with this whole process.

  • @EA_Mako Hard uninstall helped and it works now, but after 42% it doesn't show updating, only when Im in-game. Thanks <3
