Apex Legends won't launch

I need help with launching Apex Legends in the new EA app. When I go to my library, select Apex and select play, the game will begin to launch and show a mini loading screen. It then disappears, never starts and takes me back to the EA desktop app. I have run as administrator, deleted all Apex files and uninstalled game and reinstalled all files/game, I have checked app permissions and looked through firewalls to see if there is anything causing the issue. I cannot figure it out. Looking for any help, please.

I have attached a picture of the loading screen that I can't get past.

  • Hey @DirtyRogg

I have a feeling the anti-cheat is at fault here, let's get troubleshooting.

    Troubleshooting EasyAntiCheat.

Open your File explorer and locate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex
    And delete the following files:

    • EasyAntiCheat
    • EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe
    • EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll

    Then locate to:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\__Installer\customcomponent

    And delete the following files:

    • EasyAntiCheat

Then restart Origin, go to Game Library, click on Apex Legends.
Then go to settings -> Game Properties and repair the game.

Let me know if this worked for you!

I had to switch to the EA desktop for some reason so I no longer have origin. Also, whenever I download the game, it does not save to the program files (86x), it just saves to a regular program files. Could this be an issue or does it not matter.

Additionally, I tried these steps by going through my game/app location and it did not work.
