Apex makes GPU Temps 88-90 degrees

Apex Legends is making my GPU to about ~88-90 degrees. I just got my computer setup the summer of 2022 so it's new and should be able to run Apex without getting to that high of temps. When I run other games like League, Valorant, COD, etc, the temperatures get to 75-77 at most. I've tried to lower all my display/video settings and the temp still stays very high. Does anyone have any guidance or advice on what I can do?

I currently have Apex downloaded through steam, and I closed all other apps on my computer as well, but it doesn't change the temp.

Here are my computer specs:

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

Kraken Z63 Liquid Cooler

All drivers are up to date

  • @jwsseang I don't know if this will help your temps, but my son has a 3 yo pc, with loads of ram so it still runs just fine.

It was getting a little hot so I put in an extra fan and temps dropped dramatically.

Another thing worth looking at is are any unnecessary background programs using your navidia?

  • Have u tried running MSI Afterburner and set the gpu fan to auto? i Have Rtx 3060 Ti, playing apex with low res and my average temp is 65 degrees. Also 40 degrees when playing Valorant.

According to Nvidia 3080 specs its all fine if the gpu temp is below 100C so just keep playing. If you want your gpu to use less power, you can lower the FPS  in Nvidia Settings (Nvidia Settings may override the GPU settings easily to Full the user not even realising it).
