Apex never gave me the option to link accounts

So, i have a Origin account with my apex stuff in it. I download the game for steam and i cant find the option to link accounts, i look it up, and i get it when i start the game for the first time?? ...

Hi @apowersaj,

If your Steam account wasn't already linked with an EA Account it should have prompted you to sign into your EA Account the first time you started up Apex Legends. I'm curious if your Steam account was somehow already connected to a different EA Account at some point in the past.

When you've got the chance I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team so they can take a look at your account. Unfortunately account-related issues are not something we can investigate here on Answers HQ. The EA Help team should be able to see if the accounts were linked up properly. For more information on how to set up a case with them check out the EA Help website. If you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook as well.
