Apex Update Automatically Turned on HDR and I can't remove it

The new update that came out on April 11, 2022 automatically turned on HDR. I have an xbox series S and I turned off HDR months ago because the game had a bright contrast and it hurt my eyes to play long. It also makes the game harder to play because I can't see as well as when HDR is off. I already checked my xbox settings and I have auto HDR off. There also used to be a "Compatibility options" in the "Manage game and add-ons" for Apex Legends but they removed it. HDR isn't on for any of my other games.

I don't know how to go about fixing this.

I’m experiencing a similar issue on Xbox seires x. I‘ve had hdr on for a while and it did not look this dark/high contrast before the update that came out today April 11th, 2022. The colors also look extremely over saturated to the point that it’s effecting my gameplay. Certain areas of the maps are just so dark you can’t even see what’s in front of you. The frame rate seems a bit more stable after the update, but that’s the only improvement I could see. Please help!
