I think it because of headsets that are both headphones and a microphone I unplugged my microphone and it's been working for the last few games

Hi I had the same problem and I fixed it
I m using a pair of Logitech g430 surround headphones and I drive them using the included USB adapter . Once I stopped using the USB thing the problem disappeared.
It looks like apex doesn't play well with virtual 7.1 headphones.

I'm also using USB headphones that have a virtual 7.1 surround system. I've tried turning on and off the surround sound setting to no avail. These are also my only pair of headsets, meaning I don't have a replacement for both my headphone and microphone counterparts.
From what I've gathered, USB headsets seem to converge at this issue. Can the developers please give us feedback of if they're investigating this?
