Audio issues
Audio is messed up, i have a pair of stereo speaker (2.0) but appareantly the game is running on more channels since i can't hear anything coming fro the back or the front. When i try to use my headp...
can confirm, a bit more detailed:
In the taskbar there is a sound icon on your windows desktop, rightclick and select "Sounds".
Then go to the "Playback" tab where it lists your devices.
Rightclick on your playback device (the one with the green checkmark most likely) and select "Configure"
In the dialogue, select "Stereo" as the audio channel configuration, click next two times (second thing isnt important) and then "Finish".
Next time you launch the game, it should work with proper stereo configuration.
Can confirm. This thing fixes everything for Windows 10. Sounds -> select speakers -> configure - > stereo (instead of quadraphonic) -> next -> next -> finish and should fix your problem.
@Uncl3Psych0 but does this give you directional audio? Ie. will you be able to hear enemies on your left if they are on that side of you? Normally stereo just gives you all audio without direction.
@KiwiColin11 for me it does work.
@Uncl3Psych0 yes that works if you’re plugged into your motherboard m. we’ve already established that. we all have external sound cards which are unsupported in this game so this is not a fix for us
I'm having audio issue in the tutorial of the game, I'm getting double audio from that, no matter what character I use.
PC specs are
Alienware Aura R7.
Headphones is Bose AE2 sound link
Having this issue as well. Audio from any source but myself will cut out or become extremely muted. I'm using a pair of corsair hs60 headphones that use a 7.1 external sound card, I do not have the option of configuring the headset which is a fix suggested in this thread. Corsair gives me the option in their utility engine to swap from 7.1 to stereo but this did not resolve the problem either.
