Audio is messed up, i have a pair of stereo speaker (2.0) but appareantly the game is running on more channels since i can't hear anything coming fro the back or the front. When i try to use my headphones (7.1) some sounds, like a Kraber shot, will cause a rumbling noise. Is there any way that i can configure the channels? I can't seem to find it on the audio settings.

When I load the game every sound is perfect but when I get into a match I can't hear my teammates fire the guns nor the enemies gunfire. Was wondering if this is a bug or if there's a way to fix it.

I'm not sure what I can do to fix it, if it's trying to use 5.1 audio even though I have it set to my inferface which is 2.0. I can hear myself fine, firing my gun makes the appropriate amount of noise, but other players' actions and their fire is barely audible if I'm facing it. If I'm not looking straight at the source of the noise I can't hear it at all.

When I load into most matches I can hear sounds fine. Usually after one or 2 minutes sounds start to crackle and pop or cut out completely. Can't hear enemy gunfire/footsteps. In game character voices go robotronic as does the voice chat. Interestingly enough I can often still hear my own gunfire. A bit of searching shows I am not the only having similar problems although it does not seem to be widespread.

Go into sounds then on the right it says sound on control panel click that right click speakers and press configurate and switch to stereo that worked for me after 20 min of searchinng and experimenting this is windows 10 btw. I hope this helps

My sound will stutter and cut off during the match randomly. I have to reset the game entirely for it to come back. For what it's worth, I'm also using Discord with PTT. (I have to tab out and reconnect to voice in Discord just to get my chat back there) To clarify, both in-game and discord sound cuts off.
This only seems to be happening when I'm using Discord to talk to my squadmates, but I'm unsure how it could be causing the issue. Does Apex Legends have an issue with a keybind being used for a program outside of the game? I don't have the key bound to anything in game.
Anyways, if anyone has a fix for this, please let me know. It is frustrating and difficult to play this game without sound sometimes.

Wear them the other way then, prob solved.
I have asus strix 7.1 headset and the center channel doesnt seem to work in this game.
Sounds directly in front of me are extremely quiet.
Sounds behind and besides me are fine.
I have center channel on via windows so not sure why this occurs.

I found this and it worked for me:
Within the C:\Documents\Battlefield V\Settings\PROFSAVE_profile document that everyone should have, there is an option at the very top called GstAudio.AudioQuality. This is, as I have found, an independent variable outside of the normal HI-FI, War Tapes, Headphones, etc options that are available to us. Mine was defaulted to 1, and I changed this to 4. Instantly, all my sound glitches are COMPLETELY gone, and I am enjoying this game immensely now.
