Bad_module_info

In loading screen after start the game apears this error and the game closes itself.

    Just figured I'd pop in and share what I found.

    My game would crash seemingly randomly with the bad_module_info error. Some days I could play a couple games before the crash, some days it would crash as soon as I opened the game. 

    I tried every fix I could find, including compatibility settings, rolling back drivers, reinstalling multiple times to multiple directories, launch options, etc.

    I finally was able to fix this by going in to my BIOS and resetting everything to defaults, absolutely no issues a week later after doing that. 

    Hopefully this helps someone else, or perhaps it just gives one more thing to try.

Also getting the bad_module_info crash/error.

Has always crashed during an active game. Used to crash a lot during drops. Now it's anytime in the game.

Tried disabling full screen optimizations for r5apex.exe.

Turned off Game Mode.

Using latest AMD 19.2.1.

Uninstalled/reinstalled Origin and Apex Legends.

No overclocks on any hardware

Intel i5-3570k

Maximus V Gene

AMD Vega 54 w/ 64 bios

Toshiba 512GB SSD

16GB ram

ASUS Xonar DGX

Windows 10 Enterprise

Was getting the error on Windows 7 Enterprise so I upgraded to 10 and still getting the error

O yeah doing the following seems to reduce the amount of bad_module_info crashes.

But it is a small sample size so not 100% sure on that.

Disabling full screen optimizations for r5apex.exe.

Turned off Game Mode.

    Downgrading to Windows 10 v1703 didn't help either, now im getting a different looking error message which tells me that the RAM couldn't do something.. Tested my RAM for 5hours with memtest86, they work properly. Additionally, still tried to use only 1 kit at a time in different RAM sockets, still didn't work. Really out of ideas.

      Out of curiosity does anyone have SSD's?

      The reason why I'm asking, is because I'm noticing my disk drive to be throttled during the stages of my game freeze>then to the bad_module_info message.

      I do not have a SSD

        I do have an SSD, but the bug persists no matter I have the game on the HDD or on the SSD.

        What kind of Windows do you have if i may ask?

        I've got Windows 10 Pro, is it maybe "Pro" related?
