Ban for no reason and no EA explanation

So I have a 7 day ban in my account. Opened a ticket since I think I did nothing wrong and asked if it was by mistake and if not what was the reason. Got an answer stating it was not a mistake but got no detail. So I never send those stupid hateful messages, I don’t cheat, I don’t even use coins or codes, so I genuinely can’t figure out what I did to get the ban. EA has the obligation to at least tell people what they did to deserve a ban so it won’t happen again. If I think I did nothing wrong, how can I prevent this ban to happen again?!

I pay for the game, I help reporting bag behavior, so I am entitled to know the reason. If not because I paid for the game, até least for EA to show that the ban mechanism is to teach people how to behave by showing what was wrong.

  • Hi @WaZzo0,

Thanks for reaching out to us on Answers HQ, but you're through to the forum team on here. We won't know why your EA account might be banned, sorry, but you may be able to learn more about your ban by checking these:

    1. Email: Can you take a look through your emails? There should be an email from Terms of Service that shares the general rule broken for example: ban applied for cheating/hacking/hate speech/etc. Sometimes the email can go to your spam/junk folders or if you're using gmail, it might be under the Promotions tab. Check for an email from this address: noreply@ea.com
    2. In-Game: There may also be the message displayed on the screen see in-game that shares the rule broken.
    3. Rules: This article shares more about Apex and the rules too. It may come in handy by jogging the memory or expanding on the information displayed on the screen or detailed in the email: "Play by the rules in Apex Legends".

For more help, you're looking for the Terms of Service team; they would exclusively help and discuss ban cases. If you believe there's been some sort of mix-up with the application of a ban, they can be reached by filling out the webform (that sends in an appeal to them).
