Can’t Join a Game/Orientation Match after Cross Progression Merge

I literally had the exact same issue. Almost word for word. The only way I've found to be able to get into a queue is SUPER tedious and works occasionally. But you need a friend to invite you to their party, press accept and immediately ready up, then you can get into one game before you need to restart the game and do the same process over and over again.
