Can I get someone coins if they live in another country?

Hello, I want to buy my friend 2150 apex coins. The issue is he lives in scotland and I live in the U.S, alongside the fact that i'm PC and hes Xbox. Are there region locks? Which purchasing method ...

    @Kamiferno No you cannot gift anything in Apex Legends. Your best option is to send your friend the money to buy the coins, and have them buy them.
