Can I use Exitlag?

For Apex Legends,

I have poor connection to servers outside of my region when above a certain rank and makes the game not able to be played. Have gone through troubleshooting connection issues, I was wondering if Exitlag is able to be used to improve routing or whether it is not allowed?
