Canceled Update and deleted progress

Hello,

I cancelled the Apex legends update to play the game when it reached playable so I pressed the x. It deleted the whole download and I was wondering if there was a way to restore it in anyway. It took me a really long time to download it that far with my poor internet speed. Please help.

Also why is it even an option to delete the whole download anyways; really screws people new to your launcher and new people dont know how to pause the downlaod before playing the game in the playable mark.
