Can't buy apex coins? not receieving any errors!

Hey I had the same issue, what I did is just refund the steam wallet balance back to whatever card you used and go directly to ea's website and use paypal to buy the coins (using a credit card didnt work for me, contacted support and they told me to use paypal)
