Is there any change to this situation if you select a different server or data center when first logging into the game?
Since you're not seeing any progress regardless of whether the Fill option is checked or unchecked, I'd definitely suggest going through these troubleshooting steps, in particular please check the section regarding changing your DNS to see if that improves the situation at all.
Unfortunately all of these steps did not solve the issue ☹️

Which data center are you connecting to at the start?
What sort of connection are you using on your PC, wired or wireless?It automatically connects to Iowa GCE 1 through 4. I have tried Salt Lake, Dallas, and Oregon. I am on a wired PC and I have restarted the modem, restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Apex. But it will not let me as a solo player enter a game. It is an endless match making screen and the numbers waiting in the que do change repeatedly.
We're 8 weeks in now with multiple posts to this issue specifically with no responses and no update, can we at least get a canned response "we're looking into it" or "we're aware of the problem" or something? Just something. I'd just like to know at this point if I'll ever be able to queue into a game solo again or just uninstall at this point? Thanks for your time.
April since my first post, now well into July, thats 4 MONTHS! Still a problem, still cant play the game solo, still no response, still no update, why? Why is this a thing and why is it intentionally being ignored? I really enjoyed the game for the few months I was able to play before an update broke this feature, but now, after several months I dont even know if its worth trying to get back into at this point. Like quite a few other posts all over this forum and several others, I guess Im just another player they dont want playing the game. Thanks for the good few months and all my store purchases I guess will sit in a dead account after I uninstall the game. So disappointing, just really unfortunate.
Sad, I haven't logged on in months and just to find out it is now September, a new season update and I still can't solo play.
