can't get a stable 144 fps on a 5700xt

For the last time I'll give it a try, so here we are:

Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming
Ram: G.Skill DDR4 3600 16GB RipJaws V CL19 KIT (2x8GB)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X BOX (AM4) (with a bequiet! Dark Rock 4 cooler on it)
GPU: Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro+ SE 8GB
PSU: Seasonic Focus 650 Gold Semi-modular
SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 256GB
HDD: 1 TB WD

and even with the 5700xt, I can't achieve a solid 144 fps during the games, not even on low graphics. I only have the texture filtering on 6-8gb, because it doesn't really have any difference in FPS between low settings and high, on most parts of the map, I have fps drops below 120 fps, and that's very disturbing during a fight for example. I think this setup could easily handle 144 fps even on high settings, but mine just doesn't want to do it. I'm using rivatuner, clean installed windows, I don't know what else I could do to have more fps in the game. Oh I forgot to mention im playing at 1080p on a 144hz monitor

  • Oh, and I already tried every single youtube "how to get more fps in apex legends", basically none of them are working. PC is on high performance mode, using all cores of the cpu, all these kind of stuff you would probably suggest. But I hope there's still someone who can help.

well if it's not 144, it doesn't run smooth, thats the problem.

  • It's amd's problem. Exactly I have same issue with you. I just sent them e-mail for fix this problem. They will work on it. Game is not optimized for amd gpu!

  • it's pathetic that even on everything's ultra, I get 110 fps on some parts of the map... can't do anything about it

  • @nospaferrStill no optimized for amd. This card is borring in Apex, can't go more than 70C at core on low setting but still drops to 120fps in few areas and that F tearing with 1ms monitors

I even OC'ed my XT to 2100mhz nothing helps

  • My video is RTX 2060 and my processor is I5 10400H. Guys I have exactly the sam issue. I have tried everything on youtube but it still drops to 120 fps at some part of the maps and in team fights. Anyone can help?
