Can't get your twitch prime loot on PS4/XBox? Here's (most likely) why...

So apparently some 3-4 years ago, one of my friends logged into his EA account while on my PSN account for some game he was playing. Well fast forward to now and his EA account is still linked to my PS4 account. This means that when I go and link my twitch prime to my EA account to collect the pack, I'm not actually connected to my PSN account because that's linked to an entirely different account.

What's the fix for this? Nothing. There is no direct fix to be able to unlink your PSN or XBox account from the wrong EA account so you can link it to the right one. Is EA working on this? Who knows? I just got off an hour-long chat with a rep and they said the team is looking into the problem, so our goal is to keep telling directly that this is something we want. Otherwise there will never be a fix for this.

And yes there technically is a fix if you're willing to do a Persona Transfer. But all I see there is warnings that your account might get completely compromised if you do that. 

So if you're like me, and have the wrong EA account linked to your PSN/Xbox account. You have no legitimate, safe way of ever getting that Twitch Prime loot.

I'd love to hear from a developer that this is truly being worked on but all I got was "watch the EA twitter page".
