Can't Log In to EA Account on Nintendo Switch

Question

I can't seem to log into my EA account on Nintendo Switch in either Apex Legends or Knockout City. However, logging into my EA account on my Xbox for these games works just fine.

The error message on Nintendo Switch right after I click the Link Accounts button says:

Something Went Wrong...

We encountered an error and couldn't complete your request. Try again later.

Can anyone help me log in on Switch?
