can't open inventory or heal

APEX LEGENDS

CURRENT PATCH ON 7/1/22

Bug occurs almost every game, typically after using the replicator, where I cannot open my inventory or use any form of healing.

Bug has happened twice so far.

Closing the game and relaunching fixes the bug.

I also found the bug resolved after performing a self-revive with gold knockdown shield.

Strange and very urgent bug.

    @Armedcanadian Ran into the same exact issue with the replicator. Hopefully when you notice the issue, you are nearby the replicator. If you reopen replicator, you should be able to open inventory or use skills again.

    This issue seems to have existed for a few days, though it's becoming more relevant now.

    So if you got any information to share, it would be extremely helpful!

    (Information like, which replicator you were using and other steps you did before using the replicator)

    @jang_w0nyoung The error with the game locking up and causing certain beeping noises is something else.

    I'm still looking into it but I'm not really sure what could be causing it, so far it seems that this exact issue might result in a game crash.

    (It's possible that this issue is related to a memory leak, though I haven't been able to fully confirm this)

    Yes I also realized exactly this as well. Can't use any abilities at all. 

    I will try some of the solutions from the other commenters next time I'm in game.

    @XHelperZ Thank you so much for the help! I'm glad there appears to be some solutions with re-engaging the crafter. I'll try that next time I'm in game.
    If I find more details I may post onto the megathread.

    Just happened to me. Insanely frustrating af. I had a good game with decent teammates. My own performance was okay too.

    I don't have any idea why prior to reading this thread. After reading this, yes I think it bugged around the time after I used the replicator.

    Someone at EA or game dev people please message the relevant team to fix this issue asap! As this error is very unbelievably unfair. It forced me to throw the game without any other efforts I can possibly do. I'm totally became useless. Istg it's so crucial, to put it in perspective, even if I'm pro like aceu I'm still a dead body. Like, why even the bug so f*cking cynical? It doesn't affect the fundamental control but affects second essential things like healing items, inventory, tactical skill, and ult. Wtf? Ngl this one is almost intentionally evil. I swear I'll uninstall if I have to experience it one more time, I can't deal with it ever again.

    On top of everything, my teammates got frustrated too in the end and called me a liar although I explained my sudden unfortunate situation through the chat with very calm and chill mannerism. Dear that Caustic and Newcastle, I'm sorry but in the end you guys were suck too.

    @agent48ID I can confirm all you have to do is re-engage any crafter, and the bug is gone. Try doing it / testing if you're bugged immediately after any crafter usage. It works.
