Cant Play "the application encountered an unrecoverable error"

I can't play apex since the update. every time I click to play the error message pop up says "the application encountered an unrecoverable error". I got the screenshot of the error message. I tried...

look i fixed it by downloading the steam_api64 again and copy it (replace) to C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 try it and tell me if it works

I just had this same issue and found a fix.

Boot Steam

Go to Library Tab

Right click on Apex on left side and hit properties

Click on local files

Click verify integrity of game files...

I had 3 non-verifiable files but this fixed it.

  Sorry that didn't work for you... I'm no expert just trying to give some ideas. It could be caused by your anti cheat software?!?
