Can't
So im trying to sign into a different old higher level account with skins and stuff on apex, accidentally didn't sign into it on steam and made a new ea account idk why, i want to sign out of that steam ea account so i can sign into the xbox ea account (i have both emails and am currently able to sign into both accounts) i am able to link more platforms onto both accounts and unlink the xbox platform from my xbox ea account, however i am unable to unlink the steam account, I've tried doing everything, closed apex, logged out of steam because that might have been it, refreshed page, been trying for 3 days and it just wont unlink, there's no pop-up asking me to acknowledge risks of unlinking or anything, i just press the unlink button and nothing happens, every other button on the page for both accounts works except for "unlink" for steam. am i doing something wrong? I've asked and showed three of my friends the issue and they are also confused saying they have never seen it. what do i do, i have season 4 apex skins and stuff i want to get, im just lost. if i cant do anything im just going to delete this account to sign into the xbox one.

If you're unable to unlink an account from your end, you can try contacting support directly so they can help get the correct account(s) linked. Depending on the account status they may need to change this on their end.
Do keep in mind that progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.
In this case it sounds like the EA account that has your Steam profile linked doesn't have much you'd be missing, just be aware none of that content would come over to your main EA account when re-linking Steam.
