Character and Walls are sparkling bright white and purple in lobby and ingame

Hai,

 It looks like an error with the texture files (amoungst of other things),

have you allowed the game to completely download or did you play as soon as it was playable?

If the game has completely downloaded, open origin right click apex and click repair.

Wait for it to finish and see if that fixed it.
