code net every game

I have been playing apex on ps4 since launch. For a very long time I had little to no problems with this error. Then I started to get disconnected almost every game during the legend select screen with the error code net. I had Apex on origin, and it started doing the same thing. I recently got it on steam and nothing has changed. I enjoy apex and would love to play it, any help would be appreciated.

I'm getting Code Net every game also, and I'm playing on PC on Origin. I just got a 10 minute penalty because of a Code Net. Please Fix.

  • Now it's starting to disconnect me in the lobby after about a minute.

Hey @DrNichtss Here are some steps to try for both your PC and PS4 versions, go through them and let us know if you continue to have issues.

    PC:

    • Port Forward
    • Flush DNS (first section in the link)
    • Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
    • Close Origin completely by right-clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary:8.8.8.8, secondary:8.8.4.4, unless there is different DNs you would rather use)
    • Check for Windows and GPU updates
    • Allowing Origin/Steam and Apex through your anti-virus or firewall

    PS4:

    • Connection troubleshooting
    • Restore License
    • Rebuild Database:
      • Make sure your PS4 is completely powered down and that your Dualshock 4 controller is connected to the console via a USB cable.
      • Boot up the PS4 in safe mode. This is done by pressing and holding down the power button until you hear two separate beeps (about seven seconds).
      • Once the PS4 is booted in safe mode, you’ll be taken to a menu with a variety of options.
      • Select the “Rebuild Database” option, making sure you don’t accidentally select the “Initialize PS4” option since that will erase all your data.
      • The screen is supposed to go black when the rebuild process is underway, so don’t worry if that happens. Depending on how much data you have on your PS4, the rebuild process can take some time, so be patient, and don’t turn your console off while the process is still going.

  • Hi I’m having the same problem but with my Xbox one do you know what I could do to get this fixed I literally get it every time I play and it started about a month ago and I have just finally gave up on even trying to play Apex anymore
