Hello all. This thread was created to gather information from players affected by a very particular type of account-specific issue, affecting around 450 players. Thanks again to everyone who provided info.The core cause of this issue appears to have been found and addressed at this point, and we have confirmations from those using the appropriate account. Those affected have now had their issue addressed, so we'll close this thread out now. Thank you again to everyone for their contributions. However we're still seeing a lot of posts about code:nets from accounts that are not locked out. The code:net error message is a generic one and can appear for many of reasons, and in short it just means that you have disconnected from the server. This can be due to server-side issues, but it can also be due to infrastructural or local issues. If you get a code:net you can often just reconnect, but if you frequently get them, it may be best to troubleshoot for any potential local issues. In many cases standard connectivity troubleshooting can help, you can see our EA Help guide here. There's also an in-depth Community Troubleshooting guide here. We also see that a number of players are indeed locked out with the following error message: "There was a problem processing game logic. Please try again. ui/social_event_popup.nut #145[UI] Bad hardware Type"This is being investigated and we will post on this thread when we have an update. Whatever I haven’t been able to play since a month and 12 days, y’all need to fix your game special because the people that can’t play ur game because of code net are the ones that spend the most and support your game.

Got this issue since October 2020. 5 months later, I gave up but well, maybe you'll finally manage to fix this. Game is crashing on loading screen, without any crash report or error message. I'm playing on another account on the same PC since one month now, everything is working perfectly.
I can access my main account and log into the game only if I cut my Internet right before the loading screen, waiting for login error, plug my Internet back and click on Continue, then I can finally get into the lobby and play. Sometimes when I manage to get into the game on main account, I got code:net errors appearing randomly. I have to do this process every time if I want to play on my main account, that's why I gave up and tried a secondary account, which is working perfectly on the same PC with the same game files since 1 month, nobody knows why, it's like some accounts are flagged with something bad and it seems to be random. Never got any issue on my secondary account for now, 1 month after creation, game is working perfectly.
I'm not expecting something, but if you can fix this, it would be great to get my account back with all my previous stuff without plug/unplug my Ethernet every day.

i just wanted to play apex and now i cant get the legendary kraber skin since i cant log in.
some info i have is when i log in it takes me to the lobby but some things are glitched out and some of the screen is black. Then it says the error and puts me back out to log in again. one time i tried again and it froze my entire ps4. I had to actually unplug the ps4 and then replug it to get it working again. i hope this helps.

Addtional Information:
Everytime I launch the came and press continue I have a black screen with an apex logo at the bottom right. I wait a few minutes (5-7 minutes) to get a code: net error / server time out error. After getting this message I am able to press continue again and connect almost instantly. It does not matter which server I am connected to. So essentially everytime I want to play I have to wait approximately 3-7 minutes for a server time out in order to play the game.
