code:net

hello , pls report this to respawn that apex is getting code:net again , its almost every game for me ,

  • Tried to play some Apex today but EVERY SINGLE GAME was cut short by Code:Net or Code:Shoe/Tree/Leaf/Etc.

    And since half the games were in Arena's I got a 10 minute abandonment penalty multiple times.

    The BR games I tried to play kicked me before I could even drop.

    I've put money into this game and would rather not quit because EA can't be bothered paying to fix thier servers.

  • @OFIS-Xyed Can you please create another account, play Apex on that account on the same system and check if there is no error? Me & many people are in the same situation with you so, you can help to solve the problem by being part of this info-gathering stuff.
  • Since no one is talking about, I need to say it. I got affected by the code net bug, contacted multiple times the EA help and they gave me hope sometimes, but today, I discovered that nobody received the goodwill grants, even if you got affected for almost a month, and for that I almost not completed the battle pass. Devs and even Respawn said that who get affected would receive the goodwill grants (Was 150 heirloom shards and, if I am right, 12,000 apex coins)

    Please, EA advisors recommended me to get into the forum and search for help, because they can’t give give that.

    @Twisted-Wade i think our problems are not same for me it happens when i m in match or when on legend selection screen , i wil be playing game fine then suddenly i will lag or dc then code:net shows and reconnect keep trying to connect back but it wont work.

    @Im_Primadonnaboy they did not even put this issue in apex trello tracker despite they always say "it is a known issue" on live chat-tickets etc.

    @EA_Barry I suffer from same code:net stuff and I have tried :

    * All troubleshooting steps on EA Help (connectivity guide, clearing origin cache, etc.)

    * Tried different data centers
    * Clean setup of apex (tried on both platforms origin/steam)
    * Did a clean setup of windows 10 with completely format
    * Tried 3 different routers
    * Updated firmware of router
    * Reset router to factory settings
    * Reached ISP, they checked all OK.
     
    Only my main (this) account is affected, I can play on alt accounts without any issue on the same system. There was a code:net info gathering topic for accounts affected before. Why do not you do the same process?

    There is even an article about "code:net" problem. It is not the same as other "code" errors. Both of us get the same critical error (code:net).  The article of official apex website says something like this: "Reach us if you get 'code:net' error, because we know how annoying it is. There is no exact solution for it but we are investigating"

    Still, of course maybe our problems are different. So, we can check if our problems are the same or not by trying to play with alt accounts. Can you check, does it have an impact on your problem? If you able to play perfectly without any issue, our problems are the same.

  • Its been two weeks since my game crashed and I still can't login. Who do I need to talk to, because this is making me hate a game, I love.

    @Twisted-Wade For me, my problem is that i am able to start the matchmaking but was stuck at loading screen. Unable to proceed to "Waiting for player" page. It happens very often for like 1-3 games once.

    I've tried creating another steam account and EA account and that account have no issue at all when playing Apex.
