CODE:NET/LEAF

CODE:NET Issue:

On apex legends i have been receiving a code:net error almost every game i try to play.

I'll get into a game, sometimes its halfway through or right at the beginning i get CODE:NET and it doesn't allow me to join back to the game i was in. After the CODE:NET ill get LEAF, then NET again and one more time it will say SERVER FULL (they aren't trust me) after that it will let me back into the main menu (this happens if i just sit on the main menu aswell)

I have redownloaded the game for both steam and origin, tried repairing the files for both platforms aswell. Deleted browsing history, cookies etc through internet explorer and through windows settings. I have reset network data, clean booted, opened ports, deleted excess internet files, still nothing. I did a full reset now twice of my PC and everytime i do that, it works fine for maybe or week or so. This makes me think that overtime some sort of build up of a certain file, whether its in the game files themselves, or some fort of internet file, i feel that this is whats causing the issue. I just don't know what i should and shouldn't delete.

Spec:

AMD FX-8350 8-Core

16 GB RAM

XFX RX 580

64-Bit OP System

  • Hi @VNG_Waste ,

I know that the Code:Net errors definitely can be frustrating to deal with. Errors like this can come up for a lot of different reasons, so it can be tricky to narrow down what exactly might be causing it. Generally the 'code:leaf' Apex Legends error means that the game asked to connect to a server and the server never sent a response. On the other hand, the 'code:net' error means that the game was on a server that suddenly became non-responsive.

A good place to start troubleshooting this would be with the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. It's also a good idea to check out the more platform-specific steps there as well, depending on which system you're using:

    - PC steps
    - Xbox steps

    - PS4 steps

Also, if you can I'd recommend adding your information to this thread as well: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Code-Leaf/td-p/7977450/page/38

Hopefully, that will help you with your question

    Cheers

This is the standard vague response to such a wide spread almost inherent issue with Apex. Try harder.
