Game keeps crashing randomly for me on PC. No error. I can't play with my friends because of this!

If you crash without any error code, this worked for me:
I tried everything for days, nothing worked BUT THIS (for me at least):
i5 6400, RX580, 8GB RAM, Windows 10. I think the problem is related to some fps stuff. Maybe (just maybe) the game tries to communicate with the GPU but something goes wrong, the game freeze and then shut itself. So, to avoid this problem, I did this.IN WINDOWS: Update your drivers;
IN ORIGIN: Adding the +fps_max 90 for command line argument (click on GEAR > Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options);IN GAME: Enable adaptive resolution and FPS target to 90, disable V-sync.
No chill, no fps target from GPU.
Game automatically turns down the resolution to get to 90 fps fixed. It looks a little blurry sometimes but IT'S NOT CRASHING ANYMORE. I played 5 hours in a row without problem, then tried to lower fps target to 80. Game crashed. Seems that 90 is my answer.
I repeat: IT WORKED FOR ME, it's not the ultimate solution (probably) but I hope it'll work for some of you too.
- 7 years agoSeems to be working for me thanks for the advice
- 7 years agoI have all settings to low and normally an FPS higher than 90. I want the fps to be 100 as my monitor has a refresh rate of 100. I tried capping the game at 100, and it still crashed. I haven't tried 90, though. And I haven't tried adaptive resolution.
It still hasn't crashed for you since you did this?- 7 years ago+fps_max 90 did nothing. I just tried playing a bit, and crashed after 2 games.
