Connection to Server Timeout midgame (consistent, PC/PS4)

Hey everyone!

I downloaded Apex Legends yesterday on Pc, and ran into a problem regarding server timeouts. I figured it was localised to my computer -- it was a laptop and could barely run Apex, so I installed the game on PS4

However, the same problem arises. I will be playing for two to five minutes in game before everything in the game freezes, like I've been hit with a packet loss. Then I drop to the title screen, along with the error message "Connection to server has timed out. See ea...."

This has not been a problem with any other online game for me. Are there any fixes, or can I get some help?

Please note that this is happening every single game. I have not been able to finish a single game beyond one where I was first blood.

    Same. And if it is happening on console too (I am on PC) surely it is a problem with the game itself. I'd bet they'll roll out a patch eventually. For now I say just bare your teeth and ignore it

    Happens to alot of people me included on PC nothing to do about it really .. play another game until it's patched and you see confirmation bere

    Yeah, I was super surprised seeing it happen on ps4 as well. I assumed it was because of some dumb CPU cores reasoning or something, but I'm now under the belief that it's a technical problem with the game rather than a personal problem with my hardware. It's just annoying not being able to play this new game with my friends.

    Same here.

    I could survive until at least 15 minutes. After that the game always dc. Help EA

    EA or Respawn, please address this in some way. I can play other online games (Dark souls, smash, paladins, overwatch) perfectly fine, but I'm only getting issues when connecting to Apex Legends. This isn't okay.
