Constant Stutters + prediction errors on Apex Legends

Hey guys,

I am getting super frustrated with Apex Legends. Now a days I receive constant stutters and prediction errors so I can barely enjoy the game. I have followed the apex trouble shooting guide that has been posted by EA. I have followed countless guides online saying "do this" and "do that". I have changed graphical settings, windows 10 settings, nvidia control panel settings, I have done port forwarding, I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, I did a hard scrub of my hard drive and reinstall of windows 10, nothing has helped. I keep trying to find an answer on how to help my unenjoyable stuttery gameplay and can't. It isn't an fps issue, I have to cap my fps at 120 because if I don't it shoots between 200-300 fps. It has nothing to do with that, it has something to do with a true connection error. This is the only game I have any form of internet issues with. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed? Any tips? I am posting my pc specs, internet speed test, and a dxdiag file. Someone please tell me whats going on because I truly cant enjoy this game anymore.

Side Note: I feel like someones going to say my stream is causing the issues. I have this issue both while streaming and while not streaming. It happens no matter what and happens about an equal amount.

  • I wish it was just after the voidwalker event. Its been happening to me since the start of season 2. It is progressively getting worse.

I had this at some point during S2 but it seemed to get fixed and then now for past 2 days it has started to happen again. Really frustrating as just like you said, none of the guides online seem to help and every other game runs smooth just like before.

  • So I found something that may actually work for some of you guys and had a buddy with some networking experience to explain it to me. In the data center settings try out different data centers (even with higher ping). South carolina is 30 ping for me and new york is 50 ping. South carolina stutters but new york doesnt. I was told that although your connection to the data center is 30 ping, when the data center sends everything back to you the ping could be significantly higher.

  • Np, was worth a shot. Although it does work for me, I still get into matches where it is super bad. Ill go 1 or 2 matches with no or minor stutters/errors, then I will get one that is barely playable. Its still an issue, but atleast I can now get some matches in.
