Crashing

hi after the new update my game started to crash. I don't know what to do, I've already reinstalled it and checked the constant configuration. here is the error: 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

  • @Blitzztt this is caused by driver errors.
Uninstall your graphics drivers related to Nvidia and manually install (by selecting make and model) and not via the GeForce Experience launcher.

  • You and everyone else bud.  I'm sure apex is wiping their tears with 100 bills while they fix this.

  • Whenever i open Apex with my 1660TI the game crash with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG but not with the Intel onboard graphics card. This never happen before in s12, in the first few weeks when s13 launched, i played it completely fine and now this issue start. Device manager said my 1660TI is working properly it also detect new driver install so i don't think my 1660TI has any problem (i think so) I use laptop btw

  • RAM: 8x2 16GB

    CPU: i5-10600k

    GPU: RTX 2060

Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit

What I have tried so far:

    - Clean install of computer

    - Editing regedits with Tdrlevel, TdrDelay and such

    - Tried different versions of drivers for GPU with clean installations with DDU Uninstaller and of course tried the newest drivers available.

    - Underclocking GPU with MSI Afterburner

    - Adjusted in-game settings to the lowest possible to see if the reason was due to too high settings.

    - Made sure all windows updates is installed.

    - Repaired gamefiles

    - Tried playing through the Origin platform instead of steam without any success.

  • @Tradables I did this and underclocked my GPU pretty roughly and so far I've been able to play since last night without any crashes. I hope it stays like this, but i will keep you guys updated incase it goes back to crashing.
  • I did that, uninstalled my graphics driver, restarted pc, installed it through nvdia website by selecting the model and it still didn't help

    Hello!

I have an AMD Graphics Driver and I have this same issue, and it happens regardless of what I do. It will be fine for 10 games, then suddnely upon loading in I will crash, when I land I will crash, or even in the dropship it will crash. It has made me lose over -200rp in the last two seasons because of it. It used to be a once in awhile issue now its multiple times a session where I only play for a few hours. I don't know if you guys optimize for AMD or not, but any other ideas would be much appreciated!
