Game wont start

Hello, I need help with Apex Legends on PC.

After the latest update, the game starts, shows the intro, and then crashes immediately with no error message.

I play through Steam. I already verified files, reinstalled the game, restarted my PC, and tried repairing Easy Anti-Cheat, but nothing helped. Easy Anti-Cheat shows an error with incorrect game ID.

The game worked before the update. My GPU is RTX 3070.

Please help me fix this issue.

Go to C:\YourUserName\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex
Rename profile folder to folder.bak
Rename local folder to local.bak
it forces the game to recreate those folders.
The game should work after that.

My apex crashes everytime it load up the respawn animation thing for the new season, the new season is bugged, and i just bought $100 worth of coins on that account, like fr can u guys fix this please or atleast refund me my $100 until you guys do

Same issue here since the latest update. Game launches, shows the intro video/Respawn logo, then crashes to desktop with absolutely no error message. Worked fine before this update.

System specs:
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop
RAM: 32GB
Motherboard: MSI MS-1841 (BIOS/firmware fully updated)
OS: Windows 11, fully up to date
Secure Boot: Enabled
VT-x / VT-d: Enabled in BIOS

Troubleshooting already done, no success:
- Manual EAC repair (EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup)
- Verified/repaired game files via both EA App and Steam
- Full uninstall + clean reinstall (tried both EA App and Steam)
- Cleared EasyAntiCheat_EOS registry keys
- Full Windows reinstall (done previously for a similar issue on this same PC)
- Renamed profile and local folders in Saved Games\Respawn\Apex to force recreation
- Updated BIOS/firmware
- Toggled Core Isolation/Memory Integrity on and off
- Disabled all overlays (Discord, Steam, MSI)
- No crash dump, no Windows Error Reporting entry, nothing in Event Viewer or Reliability Monitor — the process just closes silently
- No other game on this PC has this issue

This looks like a widespread issue introduced by the latest patch, not an isolated hardware problem — several other threads posted today describe the exact same symptoms. Please look into this, thanks.

Okay so i couldnt load up apex on EA app for 48 hrs but i managed to get it to work
you HAVE to get it to work like this, change the files names and load it up, ik some people said it doesnt work, but it does i promise

My Apex always force close when its on loading screen, i already Re installing Apex, and Clean Re install my GPU Drivers, but it still force close, theres no error pop up, just close it self, any of u have the same problems?

Fixed it by deleting user cache at steam and windows.
user/savedgames/respawn/apex
steam/appcache/librarycache/1172470
