Crippling lag since the update - Anyone else experiencing?

Question

Since the update I've played about 7 or so games and I've been struggling with some of the worst lag I've ever had in Apex before.

Generally my connection is pretty strong so I can only assume the lag is server based. My experience is mostly that the game freezes every so often for about half a second, but in some firefights it's happening every other second and making the game practically unplayable.

It's happening in BR, Firing range and even in the lobby where the character models are freezing too.

I'm playing on PS5, but I'm not sure if the experience is universal.

Hoping this gets resolved soon so we can enjoy the new season 🙂

Hi @Cabowse, I assume its network lagg going all over the place and not FPS? Do you have a video of it? /Atic

Hope this video works!This kind of lag I have very rarely experienced in the game and I haven't had many issues with dropped frames since moving to the PS5 from the PS4.This feels more like a server wide packet loss as I can still see myself moving but occasionally everything in the server just freezes for a half second or so.I don't know in these situations whether it's just me experiencing this or everyone in the game at once, I will need to do more testing to find out.
