Missing content after hack

Hello. I was recently hacked. My email got hacked and so did my EA account at the same time. I didn't have 2FA on. Hacker didn't change password, but they did change unlink my Steam account where I play mostly and change lot of personal information. On that I had to link it back again, but i've lost all progress like my 360 level, 150 heirlooms, over 12k crafting materials, coins etc.

I've gathered all the information to show proof about the account. I've talked with 6 different advisors now and it's just circling around. Anyone can help me with? Are these information stored in EA's servers?

  • SharpyQ Your Apex progress and data is stored on your EA Account, which sadly when you unlink a platform account, that can cause a loss of some, (or all), your Apex progress and data, (which if it doesn't get restored when you relink the platform account, then I'm afraid its lost for good).

    What are the risks?

When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your game progress won’t transfer over. That means you’ll permanently lose access to:

    • game progress
    • DLC, expansions, and anything extra you have for your game
    • memberships and subscriptions
    • previous drops and other rewards
    • in-game purchases.

If you unlink your platform account and link it back to your original EA Account, you may be able to get your stuff back if you can still access the account.

    Unlinking risks for Steam players

If you link your Steam account to a different EA Account, any entitlements, like in-game rewards, points, and items, will remain on the EA Account that your Steam account was first linked to. You can't move your games or personas to another account yourself. If you decide to merge your accounts, contact us for more help through the link in the footer.

    Unlinking risks for Apex players

If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you might have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

Thanks for answer though. All chat advisors are straight bots.

There goes my apex playing. Got Heirloom shards about a month ago and was planning to buy new blades with those. And probably that leaked Star Wars Collab. GG's. **bleep** EA.

Btw. I got the account back. I'm the original poster. Just had to wait for 30 days to change email/account prior to the hack etc. Even If i unlinked steam account. Or this time I got actual good support who understood me.  Now I just have to play through EA app, but that's fine. THANKS EA. SORRY FOR SAYING MEAN STUFF ABOUT YOU.
