Cross Progression - Lost Steam Data
I play through Steam. I have my Steam account and Xbox account linked to my EA account. I got my Xbox data but lost my Steam data.
My Xbox account was always linked to this EA account. My Steam account was never linked to anything. I did accidentally link my Steam account to a different EA account, but I noticed it as soon as I was finished with the link process. I unlinked it and linked it to my current account.
Is there a way to get my Steam data back?
If so, can I get it with my Xbox data?

Your Steam account would have been linked to an EA account the first time you tried to launch Apex or another EA title requiring an EA account. That will be the case whenever you see this notice on a Steam page.
It looks like the Steam account was just recently linked to this current EA account, so any progress you had made would have been kept on that previous EA account instead. Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.
The only way to potentially recover the Steam data would be to re-link your Steam account to that previous EA account. It's not possible to transfer or merge content across separate EA accounts I'm afraid.
