Ddos attack on Apex Servers?

Hello :

I would like to know what is going on with the server, I been suffering extreme lag, where the frame freezes and the game crashes, this been happening a lot lately since the beginning of season 10, and it's really ruining my experience with the game, I already verified that is not my internet services, since I play on my pc, and did not have this issue, I'm playing on my console and right after every engagement, this * happens, and now is getting frustrating, so frustrating that I decided not to buy the season pass for season 10 until this is cleared out.

  • @Fyro021 Completely agree with you.Because of the same persistent issues that ruined large parts of season 9 for me & a complete inability to fix them I refused to buy the season 9 pass as a sign of my disbelief in the game.Fast forward several weeks into season 10 & for me nothing has changed & where for days I am unable to play the game because data center servers (in all regions) ping are too high.If I am fortunate to play a game or two it is only a matter of time before lag spikes,in-game freezing & numerous other performance issues occur in the game. And for these reasons there is no incentive at all to invest in the season 10 pass as well.

Yes, this is something that's really killing my mood with the game, I went as far a to reset my xbox connection settings to see if it improves, but still the same issue, when I play on the pc, I don't have this kind of issues, If there's any kind of work around, I would like to know it, since Apex is the only BR that I really play, since I'm not too fond of BR in the first place.

  • I'm no seeing any developers looking at this matter, until this is fixed, I'm not going to play apex on my console.......

  • Hey @Fyro021 ,

As I wrote in another post, this problem has persisted for such a long time.

    Spoiler

"I struggled with exactly the same problems for a while and found a solution. Apex Legends has a huge DDOS problem. Since I've been using a VPN, I've had such a problem that my entire Internet has failed, never again.

I know it's sad that to play Apex Legends you have to protect your IP, but unfortunately it is like this.

I just wanted to get rid of it once, to everyone who is still struggling with it, because I know that it is still a problem in Apex."

Yes, I been thinking about getting a VPN, but my question is, does it work for my console, or does it gives the option to register my console so I can use the VPN services?

  • @Fyro021 For this you need a VPN capable router, as far as I know, no VPN can be configured directly in the console. Alternatively, you could set up VPN on the PC (or smartphone) and connect the console to the PC (smartphone) via WLAN hotspot ... How well this works, however, cannot be said. In theory, it should work.

@Sick1Click ic, because that's my only concern, the account on my console is way too advanced, and I have a lot of unopened packages, I'm concerned that no developer hasn't reach this post about it, or am I missing something?
