Dear EA and Respawn

In the latest update, you messed up something again for Intel CPU users.

If Hyper-Threading is enabled, the game won't run properly. Most of the time it crashes while compiling shaders with no error message, or it pops up a window saying that Apex had a critical error.

Sometimes the game will start after 3-4 attempts, but the FPS will be terrible, dropping to 40-60 FPS with constant stutters.

Again, the only fix is to disable Hyper-Threading in the BIOS. Once Hyper-Threading is disabled, the game runs perfectly smooth with no crashes and stable FPS.

My PC has no issues at all. I have optimized it myself for the best gaming performance, and I never experience crashes in any other game. I play a lot of different games, and Apex is the only game with this issue.

My current system:

Intel i9-14900K

32GB RAM

Aorus Master Z790

NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti
