Debugged Error: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_c0000005_r5apex.exe!Unknown

I have been having some trouble with Apex crashing inconsistently mid game, in BR and arenas on all maps. This is the debugged error message I have been getting.

STACK_COMMAND: ~0s; .ecxr ; kb

SYMBOL_NAME: r5apex+21227c

MODULE_NAME: r5apex

IMAGE_NAME: r5apex.exe

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_c0000005_r5apex.exe!Unknown

FAILURE_ID_HASH: {97ecc5bf-25a5-a91f-408d-00e3953f49af}

This is my current build

OS: Windows 11 PRO

Proc: Intel i5-9600k

MB: PRIME Z390-A

RAM: 16gb G Skill RIP JAWS

GPU: RTX 3080

PSU: 1000W Corsair 

Note: I have uninstalled game and reinstalled, repaired damaged files, and done research with no luck and the problem continues to persist.  If someone could please offer a solution, this has been beyond frustrating to me getting kicked out of games.

    Thanks for the info!

    Looking through the DxDiag you attached, I noticed that it looks like the NVIDIA driver may have been crashing. If possible, could you try a clean reinstall of the driver to test and see if that makes any difference?

    Hi @mrjunsun

    Are you seeing any error messages popping up at the time the game is crashing? If so, what's the full error you've been seeing?

    Thank you for your response!

    I receive no ‘in game’ error message, my game freezes, then immediately kicks me to desktop while in game. 
    This error message is obtained from a debugging program I use to decode the “dump” file that’s in the apex files on file explorer.

  • EDIT: 2 days of crash free play after I validated files on Steam. Game just crashed on me again (3/27/22) with same debugged error as before.

    Just performed clean install, I will update with results. Will be doing some long gaming sessions over the next couple of days. Will check back.
