deranked after updated

hey anybody know why i got deranked from gold 2 to silver 4 after the update and why this happen

Hello @fred899h ,

You lost a couple of ranks because of The Space Hunt Event mid season update. This is intended.

Ranked splits, or rank resets, happen twice per Season: once at the start and once at the announced split for the Season. Ranked splits reset the amount of RP you have.

If you’re in the Rookie tier when Ranked resets, you’ll keep your RP from the last split.

If you’re not new to the game but didn’t play Ranked last Season, you’ll be reset to Bronze IV.

For every other tier, the split reset will reduce your current rank by 6 divisions. For more info, check out our patch notes.
