"Disable Voice Chat" not working

I turned on "Disable Voice Chat." This is supposed to mute all incoming and outgoing audio.

It was not muting my outgoing audio.

Frankly I say horrendous things to my friends but I never put it out there into the world. I never meant for literally anyone to hear anything I said in-game. I had my friends on Discord.

I would appreciate it if EA would fix their options settings and make it so the settings in their games actually worked.

Thanks for the feedback on this. One suggestion I have is to mute the mic on your headset. I know it might be tough to get in to that habit, but it should take care of this.
