If this does not work then try to do the following.
Open CMD in Admin mode.
Enter: bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
And press enter.
If you get the error: ""The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted""
Then restart your pc > go to Bios > Disable Secure Boot > Save and restart the pc and try again.
If you still have issues or it says "Not found"
Do the command: sfc /VERIFYFILE=C:\windows\system32\bcdedit.exe
If its no issues with the file you should get a msg saying it did not find any integrity violations.
If your file is damage however please do the command:
sfc /scannow
Hope this helps and fix your issue!
Hello, thanks for reaching out
Ive updated my drivers this morning and am trying to update my windows
I also did the command bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF in admin mode and it said "The operation completed successfully."
and the command sfc /VERIFYFILE=C:\windows\system32\bcdedit.exe where it didnt say it was damaged.
And I did these steps too from the easy anti cheat site and at the last step it said "disable driver signing enforcement" instead of enable.
"If these command do not work for some reason, you can also follow these steps instead to enable DSE.
- Select the "Start" button.
- Type "Startup".
- Select "Change advanced startup settings".
- Select "Restart now" under the "advanced startup" area.
- Select "Troubleshoot".
- Select "Advanced Options".
- Select "Startup Options".
- Select "Restart".
- A menu will appear where you can press "7" on your keyboard to choose "Enable driver signing enforcement"."
I have reinstalled the game on steam and its not working either, going to wait for windows to update and then see what happens.
Maybe I can try to install the game on Origin?
Thanks again for reaching out and trying to help!
