EAC Apex false banned

Hi there, I’m making this post to report a false ban. I used Lord of Mice Overclocking software downloaded from the BattleBeavers controller website to overclock my new PS5 controller. I had the game open while doing it, so maybe this triggered something in the anti-cheat that led to my account getting falsely banned, but I don't understand how when I've used this before in season 19 and never got banned, it seems to be the new EOS version of EAC they added in season 21 that's sending false positives. Apex has been encountering many false bans since this was added. This software is 100% allowed; it doesn’t interact with the game or break the TOS. All it does is change the HZ to my controller and decrease my input lag and response time, just like how you can change the HZ to a mouse. I sent an appeal out roughly 2 days ago with full evidence and proof, and they said my account was cheating, like this is impossible. The software is used by pro players, and ALGS now allows the use of overclocking your controller during tournaments and LAN events. Can I get someone to help me? The TOS team is going to keep denying my appeal. I have 2 appeals left, and I'm not going to waste them knowing I'll get denied; there is no help at all. I didn’t even play days prior until the controller came in, and I know they have logs of that. Please, someone at EA, help me get unbanned or at least get a hold of someone from the TOS team because overclocking your controller is not cheating!

  • Hey @muhaki01,

I'm afraid we are not able to review or change any account details via the forums, including for account bans or suspensions.

When you submit an appeal, our Terms of Service team will review their records of the situation to double-check whether an action was applied correctly.

You're absolutely welcome to submit another appeal and a different member of the ToS team will review the situation again, but there wouldn't be an alternative channel to have that looked into.
