easy anti cheat apex
hello,
after a year break from the game i tried reinstalling it to play a bit in vacation but i keep running into this EAC error (screenshot), or another error that states
(unsupported pak hash format), where the latter crashes the game completly while the first only kicks me out of the main menu, some of the fixes i tried:
1 - fresh installation both the game and windows10
2 - repairing the game using both origin and steam apps
3 - installing EAC using the setup which doesn't work ( cmd window only flashes for a brief second before gone)
4 - using another game's EAC setup (fallguys EAC) where it didn't detect apex or in case i force it using cmd or batch file it runs into a uncorrect game id: 5
5 - reinstalling redist c++
6 - deleting EAC files or Users/%username%/SavedApps/respawn folder and repairing.
am tired of trying to get this game to work, would love a feedback if a fix exist or if it's going to get one soon.

i suspected that windows update have gone ahead and installed a corrupted version of drivers for my gpu (AMD) so i oppted for :
1- using amd cleanup utility (or DDU) to uninstall graphics drivers (it will restart your machine for u in safe mode before executing)
2- downloading the full version of amd's "adrenalin amd" software (~600Mb) and using it to install the drivers , (link: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html )
and voilà i guess, it works completely fine now.
